It is getting hot outside, there is no denying that! For women who are expecting, the heat is even more immense (as if they aren’t experiencing enough). Don’t let the heat set you back from enjoying the beautiful summer weather! We have some tips for beating the heat during your summer pregnancy!
What to do:
1.) Keep Cool! Go for a swim, wear breathable fabrics, exercise when it is cool outside and always carry water with you.
2.) Avoid direct mid-day sun! Pregnant women are more prone to sunburn than women who are not pregnant.
3.) Use a high SPF sunscreen!
If you experience weakness, fatigue, dizziness or extreme thirst go indoors immediately.
